holiday busy-ness

Things have been insanely busy around here. Just today I had two Christmas parties, a doctor appointment, and a birthday party. I was the official picture taker at one party. You can see those here. I know I have been MIA for the past month. I've been fighting a miserable infection of some kind in my lungs complicated by the asthma. Working the phones has been quite difficult because of the violent coughing. Things are 'hopefully' on the mend after a doctor visit, shots, and enough prescriptions to open my own pharmacy. I seem to have things better under control as long as I'm in a cool environment. Heat brings out the much uncomfortable congestion and coughing.

Christmas shopping is, well........, it's *almost finished. We won't be one of the family groups until New Years Day so I can put off finding those gifts until after Christmas. I am close to being finished for those that I must have for Tuesday.

Speaking of Christmas...while waiting to get the xrays developed at the doctors office this week, Jeff noticed several boxes full of toys in a little room nearby. He made some kind of comment when he questioned what they were for that caused me to respond, "uh oh, you caught her, huh". He gave me an odd look and then his face suddenly changed when he realized what I was talking about...that it was *mom that made all of the fun Christmas morning surprises happen and not jolly st nick. He took it well. He already had alot of doubts so it was just the next step.

zzzzzz, time to pick up my nodding head off the keyboard and let it zero in for a soft landing on it's pillow...........
