whoa, boy!

Things have been moving so fast, yet so slow at the same time. Funny how that is sometimes, huh? Being MeMaw to Jaz is just too much fun. :)

This week marks the halfway point of the school year. Semester finals kept Jen busy and next week will be semester report cards for everyone and an awards ceremony for Jeff. It's so hard to believe that graduation is just 4.5 months away! Oh, my! I have so much to get accomplished between now and then. It seems like just yesterday that she was a sweet, helpless baby just like Jaz. And now she is graduating. Can we stop the clock now? Can we? Please?

And, yes, it is that time again. It happens ever two months. It is TKD belt testing time again! Testing is scheduled for next Friday. The problem - they have to know SO much for this belt. It's getting tougher. The form is much more complicated. There is board breaking, once with a kick and once with a hand. And finally, in addition to the one-on-one sparring that they have been doing, they now have to sparr against two black belts at the same time, two on one sparring. I'm so nervous for them! And I'm worried. They are still struggling with their form so we are getting in some extra class time this week. That means finding a way to get to a class every night.

So, anyway, life is fun and busy right now. Valentine's Day means it will get even busier for a few weeks. Working 14 hour days on top of an already full schedule is going to be more fun than I can handle. :P Off to get some sleep so I can have more fun with that precious grandbaby tomorrow...well, later today since it is now 2am...oops
